Welcome Sissy. Now you’ve been here, let’s activate your developer options.
From within the GS4 I have enabled the allow “unknown sources” for installation of applications, though the “allow debug” checkbox doesn’t seem to be included anymore.
It should be in Developer Options. If your device is running Android 4.2, Developer Options is hidden by default. To enable it:
- Go into Settings > About
- Tap on the Build Number entry seven times (
Toasts will appear to help you keep count)
- Press BACK, and Developer Options should be in the Settings list
After you found your options. Enable the debug options. You will finally found your device on “adb devices” command.
In my case I found my device offline after that command. Then I do this command (from some stackoverflow guys)
adb kill-server set ADB_TRACE=all adb nodaemon server
restart your computer, and done!
Some eclipse debugging
For S Galaxy Sx. Some problems I searched in internet for develop in 4.2 :
- You need to have at least adb 1.0.31
- You need to have at least sdk-platform-tools r16.01
