/ Libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object “libgdbm.so.3” not found, required by “svn”

Solution from here.

When using subversion on FreeBSD, the following error may be coming.

[Root @ yongbok ~] # svn  / Libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libgdbm.so.3" not found, required by "svn"

Force gdbm to reinstall.

[Root @ yongbok ~] # cd / usr / ports / databases / gdbm; make FORCE_PKG_REGISTER = 1 install clean

Create a symbolic link to that. libgdbm.so.3 to libgdbm.so.4 module
[Root @ yongbok ~] # ls-al / usr / local / lib | grep libgdbm
-Rw-r-r-1 root wheel 62502 2 27 10:22 libgdbm.a
-Rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 909 2 27 10:22 libgdbm.la
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 12 2 27 10:22 libgdbm.so -> libgdbm.so.4
-Rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 36065 2 27 10:22 libgdbm.so.4
[Root @ yongbok ~] # ln-s / usr/local/lib/libgdbm.so.4 / usr/local/lib/libgdbm.so.3

After done it check it again. And look at the added line

[Root @ yongbok ~] # ls -al /usr/local/lib | grep libgdbm
...
... libgdbm.so.3@ -> /usr/local/lib/libgdbm.so.4
...
